Ivan (Butch) E. Beeman, CPA

Managing Principal

Ivan (Butch) Beeman graduated from Southwest Missouri State University and moved right into a position in our Harrisonville office. As the firm grew, Butch gained strong experience in the audit area. He began to serve in an in-charge capacity for a number of local government audit clients, including several cities, water districts and schools. Three years after joining the firm, Butch was admitted to partnership. He has been managing partner of the firm since 1996.

His foundation in governmental audits has placed him in the position of partner in-charge of many of our governmental clients.

Tax preparation and planning is a critical part of his practice responsibilities. These services cover estates, corporations, partnerships and individuals. Industries in which he does significant tax work are grain elevators, hog and cattle operations, retail, automobile and mobile home dealerships and not-for-profit.

Butch is a member of the AICPA and the Missouri and Kansas Society of CPAs. He has held several committee positions in his industry's organizations. He recently completed a three year term as Secretary of the Board of the MSCPA.

As an active and contributing member of his community, Butch is past president of the Kiwanis, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Cass R-IX School District. He currently serves on the Cass Regional Medical Center Steering Committee. And, he is a member of Children's Mercy Hospital Planned Giving Council.
