Ivan (Butch) E. Beeman, CPA

Ivan (Butch) Beeman graduated from
Southwest Missouri State University
and moved right into a position in
our Harrisonville office. Butch has
been the managing principal of the
firm since 1996.
As the firm grew, Butch gained
strong experience in the audit area.
He began to serve in an in-charge
capacity for a number of local
governmental audit clients,
including several cities, water
districts and schools. His
foundation in governmental audits
has placed him in the position of
principal in-charge of technical
conformity and consulting principal
for all governmental audits. He is
also actively involved in conducting
peer reviews for other CPA firms. |
Tax preparation and planning is a
critical part of his practice
responsibilities. These services
cover estates, corporations,
partnerships and individuals.
Industries in which he does
significant tax work are grain
elevators, hog and cattle
operations, retail, automobile and
mobile home dealerships and
not-for-profit.
Butch is a member of the AICPA and
the Missouri and Kansas Society of
CPA's. He has held several committee
positions in his industry's
organizations. He currently serves
on the MSCPA’s Peer Review Committee
and the MSCPA’s Political Action
Committee. He is licensed to
practice in Missouri and Kansas.
As an active and contributing member
of his community, Butch is past
president of the Kiwanis, the
Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce
and the Cass R-IX School District
Board of Education. He currently
serves on the Harrisonville TIF
Committee.
