Dana M. McIntire, CPA

Principal

Dana graduated from Missouri State University at Springfield in 1999. She began her accounting career as an Account Analyst at Sprint in the Gross Margin Accounting department in Overland Park, Kansas. While there, Dana prepared and analyzed statistical information for executives of the Finance Department. She also assisted on special projects and was a member of the New Employee Orientation Team.

In July 2001, Dana joined the firm as a staff accountant. Since that time, she has progressed to serving as the manager for a majority of the firm’s audits and reviews which include counties, cities, not-for-profits, water districts, grain elevators, and industries. In January 2010, Dana was admitted as a partner of the firm.

In 2008, Dana became certified as a peer reviewer. She performs approximately 10 reviews annually.

Dana formerly served two elected terms on the Hudson School board in Bates County as well as a three-year term as a state committee member of the Missouri Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers. Currently, she is the Treasurer of her church, a member of the Young Professionals Committee, and a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and the AICPA.

Most recently, Dana received the MSCPA’s 2009 Women to Watch award as an emerging leader.
