Claudia Kauzlarich, CPA
Senior Accountant

Claudia first became associated with
the firm through the acquisition of
J. B. Coke's practice in June 1983.
She assisted clients with their
monthly accounting, payroll, and
sales tax returns. She was promoted
to Firm Administrator before leaving
in May, 1987 to complete her BSBA in
Accounting at the University of
Missouri in Kansas City.
Upon graduation from UMKC in 1988,
Claudia joined the local firm of
Merrigan & Associates. In 1990 when
Merrigan & Associates merged with
the regional firm of Baird, Kurtz
and Dobson, Claudia joined their Tax
Department. |
She earned the position of senior
accountant preparing tax returns for
corporations, partnerships, and
individual taxpayers.
In 1993, Claudia was presented the
opportunity to become the Financial
Manager for one of BKD’s clients,
Premier-W. J. Jones Marketing Group,
Inc. During her time with PWJJ, the
company expanded from a single
office, single state company with 3
million in sales to a four office,
three state company with 14 million
in sales. She managed all accounting
and financial functions, payroll,
tax planning, and assisted with
employee benefits and human
resources.
Claudia joined the firm as a senior
accountant in June, 1998.
Claudia received her CPA certificate
in November 1991. She is a member of
the AICPA and the Missouri Society
of CPA’s.
